Welcome to the G.B. Memorial Group of Schools, operating under the aegis of the Giribala Educational Society.
As I look back to when we started, in 1983, in a small building in Sarsuna, with the motto of providing quality education to where we are today, there is one thing constant in our journey, our quest for excellence. We have seen many changes through these years, but remained diligently focused on doing one thing – what is right for our students, and evolved into what we are today.
I am proud of the fact that we embarked on a journey long time ago, before most other schools in this part of the country, focused on the holistic development of our students, and not just emphasis on academic excellence.
While we have achieved many significant academic milestones in the years, including our performances in the Board examinations, and have been widely acknowledged for the same, but the several non-academic achievements that we had, in global competitions is what makes me equally proud.
I would also take this journey to thank all our parents, who bestowed their faith on us. It is said that teachers are magicians, they can do magic without the magic wand, but they need time for that. our thousands of parents over these years trusted us for this magic, and today when our students, who are well settled across the globe comes back to us, that is our biggest payback.
I would request you to keep supporting us in the same way that you have done over the years, and I am sure, together we will be able to achieve even greater heights in the days to come.
